Snap has announced a new partnership between its AR-glasses focused subsidiary, Specs, and chipmaker Qualcomm, as the company revs up for the release of its wearable later this year. Snap originally began developing the product over a decade ago. Snapchat is a social network that is implementing new content control restrictions for users between 13 and 15 years old, limiting their ability to share Spotlight posts to only people they follow back. The platform also provides a separate profile for users under 16 for Stories and Spotlight posts, without engagement metrics, and offers a Family Center for parents to monitor screen time.
